Earlier Notoms Work 2009-2014
These tracks come from a working sketchbook I ran from 2009 to 2014. I produced them almost solely on hardware at that point, starting mainly with the MPC1000 and then moving further into Elektron gear: first Machinedrum, then later Analog Four and Octatrack. Machinedrum was often the centerpiece, especially for rhythmic elements, with parts being mixed and muted in and out while its MIDI tracks sequenced other gear. I think I had a Lexicon MX200 around a lot of the synth sounds as a spatial multi-effect, and the tracks were usually captured either on a Boss Micro BR or straight into the audio interface.
